Dr. Shira Ruggs Dancy
Pediatric Dentist in Indianapolis
Dr. Shira completed her Biology degree at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUSD). Following her doctoral studies, Dr. Shira specialized in the oral health of children by obtaining her Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and completing her advanced pediatric dentistry residency at IUSD and Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN.
Her mission is to provide compassionate, kid-friendly dental care while empowering young patients and their families through education on lifelong oral hygiene and healthy habits. Dr. Shira practices evidence-based pediatric dentistry and remains dedicated to continuing education to ensure the highest standard of care for every child she serves.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Shira enjoys going on adventures with her family, including attending local festivals and taking road trips.

- She is currently learning Spanish
